a catholic deliverance and healing ministry

The rescue ministry

The Rescue Ministry is a private Independent Catholic (Independent Catholic Sacramental Movement) deliverance and healing ministry that offers one-on-one prayer and healing sessions (long distance and face-to-face), to help individuals overcome spiritual obstacles . The ministry is based out of New Hampshire.

Deliverance can be defined as the process of prayerfully driving spirits (both human and inhuman) out of a person in the name of Jesus the Christ.  You may be surprised to learn that, according to Fr. Gabriel Amorth (deceased Chief Exorcist of the Diocese of Rome- Roman Catholic), even baptized laypersons have the power to “drive out demons (spirits).”  Fr. Amorth based his conviction on Christ’s exhortation to his followers: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils: freely have you received, freely give” (Mt 10:8).

Deliverance (minor exorcism, typically when an individual is under the oppression and influence of a demonic presence) and exorcism (major exorcism under the support and approval of the bishop, it is as a solemn ritual performed by a priest when a person is believed to be possessed by a demon.) are two different forms of spiritual intervention. Deliverance is a broad term that can mean being freed from any problem of a spiritual nature or cause. Simply put deliverance is a healing method to bring balance back to the person as a whole.

Deliverance Prayer and Healing Sessions

If you feel stuck and/or imbalanced in your emotional/physical/spiritual life a deliverance prayer or healing session can help. Common problems that people may seek out deliverance include:

  • Severe temptation or habitual sin
  • Negative self-image
  • Difficulty to forgive
  • Disharmony in relationships
  • Depression, anxiety, anger, etc.
  • Feeling cursed or under a negative (spiritual)influence
  • Past or present engagement with the occult

If you feel that you may have a more serious problem (e.g., more severe forms of spiritual bondage or oppression, even possession), we can definitely help in that as well. We can speak with you via phone, email, or video chat to help you determine if a deliverance prayer and healing session may be beneficial.

Our approach is similar to the diagnostic process developed by physicians in the western medical community:

1. The client experiences a spiritual problem.

2. The client reaches out to our team for prayer and spiritual assistance. To contact The Rescue Ministry please email the ministry with the problem and a phone contact. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.

3. Our trained deliverance ministry conducts an investigative interview, which includes a thorough process of information gathering about the client’s problem history, family history and patterns, as well as an examination of the client’s current religious state in life.

4. Our ministry then prepares a working list of potential findings based on the client’s answers during the investigative interview. We first seek out natural explanations for any spiritual phenomenon the client claims to have experienced first before making the leap to a demonic-based conclusion.

5. As the investigation is ongoing, this working list of possible causes is honed and narrowed as it is presented in order to identify the source of the problem.

6. When our ministry feels that we have arrived at an accurate and timely explanation of the client’s spiritual problem, we communicate that explanation to the client along with a suggested treatment plan to help the client find long-term freedom and recovery from the issue.

7. Once the client agrees, the deliverance ministry then administers this treatment with the client’s full cooperation. Treatment plans can take days, weeks, or months; it is a process. They include: performing daily spiritual warfare prayers (on both the individual and the ministry), partaking of the Sacraments as appropriate, attending Mass regularly, participating in deliverance sessions, learning effective strategies to resist temptations, etc.

Note: This ministry does not provide professional counseling, medical, psychiatric, psychological, or social work services. Deliverance prayers often lead prayer recipients to seek out professional counseling, and that counseling is, in fact, God’s answer to their prayers. We must be ready and willing to go where God leads us in this process.

All services by The Rescue Ministry are 100% free of charge. We do accept freewill donations to help defray the costs related to travel.
